We note that total applications
in 5 years amounts to 1033598 from the table. What happened to all these
booklets (though used for a few weeks) given to the candidates? What
does Anna University do with the unsold applications? Think about the unused
OMR sheets (few lakhs) and the scanning work necessary in the current method of TNEA
admission. In the cloud computing era
does the sale of applications for a cost has any meaning? Support an open access system for the
admission information and the fee structure to the aspiring engineering
students. An archive of the admission related data must available in all public and school libraries.
